Economic Systems Project

Phase I

• This phase of the project requires you to:
• Select/receive four countries to research
• Copy and paste the worksheet into a Microsoft Word document
• Complete the worksheet in Microsoft Word in a timely fashion
• Save your work frequently so as not to lose your data
• Complete the worksheet identical to the example of the United States
• Indicate the country’s name in parentheses for each item
• Indicate 0 in categories where data is not applicable
• Create a folder with your name and save your Microsoft Word file to the hard drive as well as to removable storage
• Print a competent copy and submit to teacher

Phase II

• Enter selected data from the worksheet into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
• Teacher will inform you of which spreadsheets to create

• Save your Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to your folder as well as to removable storage
• Print a competent copy and submit to teacher

Phase III

• Make inferences and draw conclusions from the data
• Answer questions in writing about your data
• Create Excel charts for selected spreadsheets
• Teacher will inform you of which spreadsheets to create
• Save your Microsoft Excel charts to your folder as well as to removable storage

Phase IV

• Create PowerPoint slides for selected charts
• Teacher will inform you of which PowerPoint slides to create
• Save your PowerPoint slides to your folder as well as to removable storage
